Chanel’s Mademoiselle Prive Exhibition

Chanel's Mademoiselle Prive Exhibition

Chanel has opened a new exhibition in London showcasing the creative history of one of the world’s most luxurious brands.

It was launched by the label’s creative director Karl Lagerfeld who’s been at the helm since 1983.

Couture creations… diamond jewelry… and their famed No. 5 scent…

Inside Chanel’s latest showcase are the creations that brought the fashion label’s legacy to life.

The star: the late Coco Chanel’s diamond jewelry collection… on show for the first time.

Many pieces on display have been modeled by celebrities, including British singer Rita Ora and American actress Julianne Moore.

Chanel prides itself on one-off specially-designed gowns.

Chanel’s creative director Karl Lagerfeld said: “We made special dresses for each girl, what was right for her personality and put the jewelry on. So it was a very personal thing.”

Also on display are couture gowns by Lagerfeld and cauldrons which reveal the ingredients of Chanel’s No. 5 perfume.

The exhibition runs until November first.
