Real-life superheroes and some of the most loved characters from the silver screen will be on hand ready to save the day at next month’s Jindalee State School fete.
Fete Convenor Kara-Leigh James said organisers hoped the heroes and villains theme would prove popular with patrons at the August 29 event.
“All children have superhero costumes and not just the fictional ones,” she said.
“We want children to get dressed up and there will be a ladies and gents best dressed competition.”
Last year’s fete raised $50,000 for school projects and improved facilities.
Ms James said they hoped to raise $60,000 this year.
Organisers are still looking for sponsors.
