According to the Dutch Safety Board report, MH17 crashed after a Russian-made Ruk missile exploded outside the cockpit.
But, both Russia’s Aviation authority and pro-Russian rebels have rejected these findings.
This spokesman for the people’s Republic says any sane person could realize MH17 was hit from Ukraine-controlled territory, and by a weapon that the Ukrainian army has in stock.
Russia has also repeatedly expressed its disappointment in being excluded from Dutch investigations.
The Deputy Head of Russia’s Aviation Authority said they wanted to help analyse all variations of events.
The Dutch report is expected to further strain diplomatic ties between the Netherlands and Russia.
The crash killed all 298 people on board including 39 Australians.
The investigation continues into who was responsible for launching the missile.
