Christmas Wildlife: Angle 2:
A wildlife carer in Bundaberg has urged drivers to be alert for wildlife on public roads these holidays.
Ms Christine Wynne says the announcement follows several close calls between kangaroos and motorists in recent months.
Ms Wynnes says the holiday season typically sees an increase in animal tolls – tolls which can be reduced with a cautionary eye.
Christine Wynne: “Be aware that there are wildlife, plently of wildlife around, and we have to sort of share the environment with them so just be, just be careful and drive a bit more slowly in areas where we know there are more wildlife.”
