European Bucket List

To celebrate my first day on tour, I thought I would share my European bucket list with everyone! My list started over two years ago when I first decided I wanted to go overseas, although this is the first time it’s been put together in one place. Whether I achieve them all is yet to be see, but regardless, they’ll certainly be the cause of some wild adventures!

(Please note this list will grow as I find more and more ingenious ways to spend money.)

 

AUSTRIA:

  • Marvel at the Austrian Alps. – completed 08/09/2016
  • Visit Vienna.
  • Spend an evening at the opera in Vienna.
  • Ride the Ringstrasse.

BELGIUM:

  • Visit Brussels.
  • Taste true Belgium fries.
  • Visit Bruges.
  • Talk a walking tour of Bruges.

CZECH REPUBLIC:

  • Take a sobering visit to the former Mauthausen Concentration Camp. – completed 09/09/2016
  • Visit Prague. – completed 09/09/2016
  • Take a walking tour of Prague. – completed 09/09/2016
  • Cross the medieval Charles Bridge. – completed 09/09/2016
  • Climb to the top of the Old Town City Hall and view the Old Town Square.
  • Watch ‘Death’ toll on Prague’s Astronomical Clock.
  • Visit a miniatures museum.
  • Drink beer. Good beer. – completed 09/09/2016

DENMARK:

  • Visit Copenhagen.
  • Check out the view from the Church of our Saviour (Vor Frelsers Kirke).

FINLAND:

  • Visit Helsinki.
  • See the Northern Lights in Lapland.

FRANCE:

  • Visit Paris. – completed 27/08/2016
  • Climb the Eiffel Tower. – completed 28/08/2016
  • Dine at the Eiffel Tower.
  • Get a selfie with the Eiffel Tower. – completed 28/08/2016
  • Take a guided night tour around Paris. – completed 27/08/2016
  • Buy a trinket at the flea markets in Paris.
  • Wait in line for hot chocolate at Angelina.
  • Descend into the Catacombs.
  • Hear an organ concert at the Notre Dame or Sainte-Chapelle.
  • See an opera or ballet at the Palais Garnier.
  • Stroll around the Saint-Denis.

  • Drink vodka in Kraków.

SPAIN:

  • Visit Madrid.
  • Throw a tomato in the name of fun at La Tomatina.

        Sure 🙂 Leiden en Utrecht have the same type of charming architecture you’ll find in Amsterdam, but without the drug tourists and blatant prostitution. Rotterdam is a very unique and cool, modern city with a completely different vibe. Breda and Maastricht are lovely southern cities, different from cities in Holland. Let me know if you want to know more 😉
