We trudged downstairs for breakfast and caught this stunning view from Bradford Backpackers Hostel at 8 o’clock in the morning. The ground was covered in frost and the sky was streaked with pummels of smoke.
A long, mud-covered path led us to the beautiful blue Fairy Pools near Glen Brittle.
A short stop at the Talisker Whiskey Distillery left everyone’s bags fuller.
We braved the cold and sat at an outside table for lunch at Portree.
Next, we drove a long and winding path to the northern-most part of the Isle of Skye. Here the houses were few and far between.
Our descent south led us to the viewpoint above Vic Bay.
The steadfast landslip of Quiraing left us gobsmacked. As too did the man in his t-shirt and shorts, running the length of the road.
We wrapped our camera straps tightly around our fists as we approached the platform looking over Kilt Rock.
